Aircure has just finished the filming and production of a DVD featuring Aircure’s main product, the MOD5, and the website features videos clips showing the product in action, as well as video of the unit being installed and maintained. This will allow the many far-flung prospective clients of Aircure to see the MOD5 in action before purchasing. The videos are hosted via YouTube.

For those with slower connections, there are step-by-step photo guides and flash animations to complete the information available on the site.

The website makes use of the Drupal Content Management System, which forms a solid and versatile base from which to grow the site as the product range expands.

The Resource Centre is packed with interesting information is a variety of media, and there is a Member’s Zone which allows Andy to share special content with paying clients.

We took our lead for the look and feel of the website from the previous website and the Brand Standards Guide we created for Andrew Brough in 2008, but the look has been updated with drop shadows and layered graphics that add a three dimensional feel.

OPS has just completed the website for SAMA award winning producer Crighton Goodwill, who has worked with the likes of Loyiso, Vusi Mahlasela, Gang of Instrumentals and a host of Idols winners. He has also worked on ‘Sound to Picture’ projects such as SA Survivor Malaysia.

The website features a powerful content management system that allows Crighton to quickly and easily add information – as well as Audio and Video – to the site. The website intelligently files audio by a particular artist with that artist’s page – and it collects the artist and album info straight from the MP3 file, making uploads even simpler.

The automatic filing of information into various sections means that site administration is a pleasure – add an ‘Award’ story, and it will be filed with all Awards news; post a story about ‘Sound to Picture’, and that is the section visitors to the site will find the info.

Red Cherry Television creates marketing using a range of platforms, from television to mobile marketing campaigns.
As the creators of platforms such as the MNET Show, and Ads Up, and Shop-O-mania, the new website OPS created for Red Cherry had to offer video. Embedded video in many pages of the site allows the viewer to either read the info, or simply click ‘play’ and witness the standard of Red Cherry’s work first hand.

The videos are offered using the blip.tv site (much like YouTube), which means the videos are hosted off-site, making sure the website does not become bloated with large video files.

Another aspect of the project was the complete overhaul of the client admin tools. Clients of Red Cherry can log on to their side of the website daily and check on the progress of their campaigns – and monitor the SMS responses on the various TV and radio stations. For Red Cherry, updating this information for their clients had become a burden, because of the complexity of the system. The system was outdated, and One Part Scissors completely redesigned the process to make it easy to use.

Instead of using several logins, pages, and system to update a single client’s info, Red Cherry now has a simple ‘Wizard’ type system that allows them to logically select the client they’re working on and update the info. Their progress through the update process is easy to follow up tabs along the top of the page to orient the user.

From the client’s point of view, their portal into the new system is fresh and stylish, with a clear view of the information.
