OPS was approached to create the print brochure for the 2011 conference. A look-and-feel was developed by in-house designers for the Beauty for Ashes website, and we continued this identity across to the brochure.

OPS recently completed the RealStart website. RealStart is a non-profit organisation involved in the development of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their program seeks to give the students a real chance in live – a ‘real start’.

The website we designed for RealStart is stylish and modern, and fulfills two important roles – information about the programme and the organisation, and a call for sponsorship, donation and involvement. The website makes it easy to pledge a donation or get involved in other ways, and the RealStart team can then make contact.

The website is built on the Drupal content management system, allowing for quick and easy updates by the RealStart team. The Drupal base allows RealStart to easily add new features later on – such as student blogs, without needing a major upgrade.

Umsizi Sustainable Social Solutions is a company which ‘provides sustainable social solutions and socio-economic expertise’ for government and non-governmental organizations, for the mining industry, for for the communities impacted by the activities and developments of these companies. Umsizi approached One Part Scissors to create a stylish new website that conveys the high-impact nature of their business, while providing clients and potential clients all the information they require to make their decision about making use of Umsizi’s services.

The website we created for Umsizi is built on the Drupal content management system, allowing for a powerful and robust base for the website. The website also features a client login, whereby Umsizi clients can access their project documentation in a safe and secure environment.

The choice of images and design elements communicates the feeling of an effective high-impact organization. Certain images were supplied by Umsizi, showing the communities which they have impacted through their work, and more conceptual images of the industries they work into are represented by stock photography. Overall, the images convey activity and energy.

Southern African Initiatives for the Development of Enterprising Action and Strategies “provides advisory services to support economic and enterprise development in Africa.”

One Part Scissors designed a bold new website for the organization that has a clean, minimalist style.

The minimalism ends on the surface, though, as the Drupal-based content management system is a highly advanced and versatile system that allows SA IDEAS to update their website with content from anywhere in the world. This ensures that the website is always up to date with fresh information. The system is easy to expand, with new features such as newsletter subscription management being ready and waiting, should they be required down the line.

The new website for the Institute of Christian Psychology was created by One Part Scissors in conjunction with the I Scream Truck agency. I Scream Truck developed the initial concept, and One Part Scissors brought that concept to life with a content management system that will allow ICP to keep their content up to date.

The slick, stylish website is easy to navigate and makes the task of researching education options enjoyable.
