Earlier in 2009, Red Cherry approached One Part Scissors to design a website for Red Cherry Television, the makers of Ads up, Spot On, and the MNET Show, among many other television based advertising platforms. Today, we launched the website of a new Red Cherry company, Red Cherry Mobile.

Red Cherry Mobile seeks to simplify the world of Mobile Marketing. The website mirrors this by keeping all the information short and sweet, and the site is quick and easy to navigate. The website is built on a content management system that allows Red Cherry to update the information as the product offering expands and new technologies are available.

OPS developed the Red Cherry Mobile logo by drawing inspiration from the main Red Cherry company’s logo. As such, it features similar lines and a similar style, but has a more modern “Web 2.0″ feel.

See the Red Cherry Mobile website here.

The “What We Do” section allows Red Cherry to upload a screenshot of the service in question, and the website automatically adds the handset around the image. This allows us to update the handset when the times comes for a newer, more modern looking handset to be featured on the website, without the need to edit all the images on the site. Upload the new handset, click update, and the entire website’s images will be up to date.

How big does your company need to be before you start worrying about your brand? Are brand manuals and strategic brainstorming about where to place the next ambient media promotion only for the likes of Diesel and Donna Karan?

This depends on what your definition of branding is. Simply put, branding is becoming known, liked and trusted. A consistent brand reassures your customers that they’re still top of mind – and makes potential customers wonder what all the talk is about.

A consistent brand meets the customer where they’re at. If your customers now spend more time on the web than in their car, how is your brand reassuring them that you know what they want? If they spend more time using Facebook than they do using email, will they meet you along their travels?

Companies of every size need to understand and utilise the power of branding when reaching their customers. It’s not just a big budget burden (or at least doesn’t have to be). It’s not only about capturing the personality of your company, but also about creating a consistent message that customers can know and trust.

So what message are you sending?
