As part of the new online branding campaign for Miss Earth South Africa, OPS set up a Facebook group. This is just one of the many online platforms necessary to promote a business in today’s digital world. A Twitter page has also been created to allow every day news feeds and links as well as a blog.

Chanel Grantham was crowned Miss Earth South Africa 2009 at Emperors Palace on 6 June. One Part Scissors designed the invites, programme and menus for the event.
The programme needed to double up as a brochure after the event. The programme highlighted education and greening work carried out by the Miss Earth Organisation through out the year. A separate insert showing this year’s finalists in glamour and swimwear was printed specifically for the event. Invites to the event were sent out via email.

OPS continues to work with Miss Earth, strengthening the brand across all media. The new website captures the energy and diversity of Miss Earth through its bold use of colour and images and also highlights the extensive work being done by the organisation. The new site goes up just weeks before the finalists for the 2009 Gala Showcase are announced.

We were proud to be the designers for the 2008 Miss Earth, South Africa Gala Showcase. Designs included email invitations, a 12 page Gala Showcase Programme and tickets.

The DDH Group commissioned One Part Scissors with the task of creating a clean, stylish website for a product called the PowerGuard. The PowerGuard is a device that will allow households to counter the problem of load shedding by managing the household’s power consumption.

One Part Scissors created a website using the latest web 2.0 techniques to create a website that is easy to browse, and makes use of a single page, with different information being loaded into that page is requested by the user. The look and feel of the website also makes use of the latest style of web design, with large simple buttons and easy to read information.
