One Part Scissors recently ported the dentdoctor.co.za website to a new website for the Arab Emirates region, at dentdoctor.ae.

The AE website has the same structure and content management system, as well as the same look and feel, but it is it’s own unique site with it’s own content. The content management system used has powerful language features that allow for the option of having the site in Arabic as well as in English, should the need for alternative languages arises. The system is versatile enough to allow for a slightly different layout in the right-to-left text orientation situation that would be required for Arabic.

The images are also specifically chosen to be more suitable to the Middle Eastern demographic.

The new website One Part Scissors has created for the Dent Doctor franchise takes the entire look and feel of the company in a new direction. The focus is on the customer’s experience, and most importantly, the imagery of the website has moved away from dented cars, to people enjoying their vehicles.

The message conveyed is one that reminds the visitor that their car can be the source of enjoyable experiences, and while they are currently looking to resolve a difficult ‘car situation’, the images in the site keep the purpose behind the repair in the top of the customer’s mind.

The website makes use of a content management system which allows Dent Doctor to quickly and easily update the site with news and new branch information, and a branch browser allows visitors to the site to quickly find their closest branch.

In 2005, One Part Scissors designed a Flash website for DD Auto (Dent Doctor Randburg / Sandton). In 2007, we updated the site, using some of the more recent web techniques and Flash video, giving the site a fresh appeal, maintaining the success that the first site enjoyed.
